  • Benches/tables wiped down
  • Corners/under benches/piano dusted
  • Check windows (cleanliness and state of screens/panes),
  • Organize closets.
  • Sweep/mop/wax floor.
    • The floor needs to be waxed every week, and it looks very good if it is waxed (with Diamond Shine ) and if it is not walked on while it is drying, so tape it off well. In 2012, despite careful taping, daytrippers were still walking through the areas (we found a bare footprint one week) and messing up the wax (Apparently they just thought we didn't want them in there for no good reason). We made signs for each entrance/exit explaining that wax was drying and that seemed to keep them out.
  • Shake out rugs/mats.
  • Check lightbulbs
  • If any tables, chairs or other unnatural items are outside, bring them into an appropriate building
  • Go back to Newton later to take down the tape and arrange the furniture nicely
    • Take down the trashcans that you would have put up on tables, and the non folding/nonstacking chairs should be put out nicely, also replace the mats.
