Conference Services Close Up ChecklistEdit

Old Kiddie BarnEdit

Clean out cleaning closet. Empty everything out. Wipe down shelves. Sweep floor.

  • Clean all toys (including kiddie pools and outdoor toys) in bleach water, throw out anything semi-sketchy. Let toys dry thoroughly (outside, if it is sunny).
  • Store toys in milk crates, cover with trash bags, and place in an organized fashion in cleaning closet (use shelf space as much as possible).
  • Take curtains, sheets, and blankets to laundry (label as Kiddie Barn). When clean put into clear trash bags, label, and put into closet.
  • Wipe down cribs. Wipe down mattresses with bleach water, let dry, put into trash bags and put back into cribs.
  • Wipe off all books with a damp, soapy rag, put into milk crates, cover with trash bags, and put into the closet.
  • Wipe off all shelves and counter tops with either murphies or soapy water.
  • Wipe off all chairs, put on top of tables.
  • Put everything that was in the closet, and should be saved, back in the closet.
  • Vacuum or sweep floors. Vacuum windowsills. Vacuum wooden floor.
  • Put away any chalk/crayons in closets or bring to Art Barn
  • Move all furniture out of the room with the wood floor.
  • Mop floors.
  • Wax wood floor.
  • Scrub bathrooms. Focus on scrubbing the toilet well, inside and out.
  • clean toilet scrubber and plunger. Let them dry outside, then store in the bathroom.
  • Bring all cleaning supplies (including brooms, dustpans…) to the chamber closet
  • Close windows, pull down storms.
  • Check walls for crayon/paint stains…Wipe off

Louise’s BarnEdit

  • Clean out locked closet next to the bathroom.

Newton will not be closed down, as it will be used for Close-up.

KitchenEdit

  • Clean all dishes and put away in organized fashion, remove any dishes that will not be used for Pel Meals.
  • Remove all food and drink, unless it will be consumed by Pels.
  • Organize cabinets/drawers: clean inside and out.
  • Clean counters, fridges, and walls.
  • Sweep and mop floor.
  • Empty and scrub trashcans.

BathroomsEdit

  • Scrub toilets in and out.
  • Comet sink.
  • Overstock bathroom with paper goods.
  • Empty and scrub trashcan.
  • Sweep and mop floor.
  • Organize and Stock cleaning supply shelf.

Main roomsEdit

  • Clear out all of conference belongings (to lost and found) and our equipment (to A/V Closet).
  • Fold and push tables aside.
  • Stack Chairs.
  • Break down boxes, and bring to kitchen back loading dock.
  • Wipe down benches with murphies.
  • Dust corners/under benches/piano.
  • Check windows (cleanliness and state of screens/panes).
  • Organize closets.
  • Sweep/mop/wax floor.
  • Shake out rugs.
  • If any tables, chairs or other unnatural items are outside, bring them into an appropriate building.

MarshmanEdit

Marshman will be used as an off-season socializing space.

BathroomsEdit

  • Scrub toilets in and out.
  • Scrub the sink.
  • Overstock bathroom with paper goods.
  • Empty and scrub trashcan.
  • Sweep and mop floor.
  • Organize and Stock cleaning supply shelf.

Main roomEdit

  • Comfy furniture from the underworld brought up by truck crew and set up (include rugs, tv, vcr, dvd player…)

ChapelEdit

  • Remove all hymnals & Bibles, bring to Cute Crew office
  • Bring Chalice and Cross (if it’s there) to the EMB Loft.
  • Empty and scrub trash can.
  • Remove flowers, clean vases and return to chapel.
  • Murphy all pews, window sills, spot check walls, scrub lectern in and out!
  • Bring the electric keyboard and all of its parts to Elliott.
  • Bring music stands to Elliott
  • Vacuum the floor
  • Remove all A/V equipment, including extension cord, and bring to the A/V closet.
  • Bag cushions on chairs.

ParkerEdit

  • Murphy all benches and bookshelves.
  • Empty benches out.
  • Empty Indian pump (and one in Parsonage).
  • Close all windows, pull down storm windows.
  • Vacuum rug (should be cleaned by rug doctor during close-up).
  • Sweep perimeter.
  • Cover shelves with a drop cloth.
  • Remove all trash (check walls and ceiling) scrub trash can.
  • Clean out fireplace

BrookfieldEdit

Row boats will be stored in here for the winter

Organize closets.

  • Remove any food, dishes, A/V equipment.
  • Scrub tables and pianos with murphies.
  • Sweep
  • Empty and scrub out trash cans.
  • Close windows.
  • Scan porch and lawn area.
  • Bring in volleyball net and tennis net (to open closet) and any other sports equipment can go to sports closet.

BathroomsEdit

  • Check sani thing.

ElliottEdit

Organize stage area, remove any items that may have been left by conferences.

  • · Stack all chairs. and cover stacks with large trash bags so they don't get covered with debris
  • · Remove all A/V equipment (to A/V Closet).
  • Close all windows, pull down storms.
  • · Murphy furniture.
  • · Sweep
  • Set empty/scrubbed trash cans under possible leak areas (around the big piano).

Lawrance and SandpiperEdit
